Job summary

Livana East Hanover is seeking a Property Maintenance Technician to keep our residences safe, functional, and attractive. You will perform repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliances, while handling make-readies for new residents and on-call emergencies.

Your hands-on approach, attention to detail, and customer-focused mindset will help deliver a great living experience for residents and strong teamwork with the management staff.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of property maintenance or handyman experience.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repairs.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to use work order systems or mobile apps.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and climb ladders.
• Customer-focused, detail-oriented, proactive.

Responsibilities

• Be the Fix-It Pro! Handle a wide range of repairs, from plumbing and electrical work to HVAC and appliance maintenance.
• Complete make-readies for incoming residents.
• Keep it Pretty! Complete painting, carpentry, and general upkeep tasks.
• Tackle emergencies! Respond to maintenance requests on-call as needed.
• Stay ahead! Perform preventative maintenance to keep equipment and systems in top shape.
• Collaborate! Work with the property management team to prioritize repairs and plan for larger projects.
• Wow residents! Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing maintenance concerns quickly and professionally.
