Job summary

Align Properties LLC in New Orleans, LA is seeking a SERVICE TECHNICIAN to support the maintenance supervisor and uphold a safe, secure living environment for residents and staff. You will perform assigned duties, assist in routine upkeep, and step in for the supervisor when needed.

The role covers electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliances, lighting, doors, and grounds; you’ll inspect for safety, coordinate make-ready repairs, and help manage inventories of parts while following company policies

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of apartment maintenance experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent; 5 years maintenance experience if not.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Knowledge of basic mechanical concepts and safety procedures (OSHA/EPA where applicable).
• HVAC knowledge and state-regulated certifications where required.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor and routine maintenance and repairs as directed.
• Diagnose electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliances, and water systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and safety inspections.
• Coordinate make-ready repairs and assist in maintaining grounds.
• Report major repairs and requisitions before expenditures.
