Apartment Management Consultants seeks a Maintenance Technician to upkeep property buildings and grounds and support on-site operations. You will repair daily issues and prepare vacant units for occupancy, while maintaining tools and inventory to ensure efficient maintenance workflows.

You will also handle on-call responses, adhere to OSHA safety standards, and secure maintenance areas at day’s end, with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Operate various hand tools including power tools.
• Understand written and oral instructions.
• Demonstrate effective communication skills.
• Knowledge in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical.
• Property maintenance/handyman experience.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for daily repair and upkeep of the property and preparation of vacant units for occupancy.
• Maintain and keep an inventory of all supplies and equipment.
• Ensure necessary tools are on hand.
• Report unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or residents.
• Maintain the required property uniform for a professional appearance.
• Operate within OSHA standards and company safety policies at all times.
• Be available to work on an on-call basis.
• Secure the maintenance shop at the close of each workday.
• Remove snow and ice as necessary.
• Handle all lock-outs from evictions and respond to service requests within 24 hours.
