Gorman & Company, LLC is seeking a full-time property maintenance technician to perform daily upkeep across plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and appliance systems on our residential properties. This role requires practical trade experience and a resident-first mindset while maintaining safety and curb appeal.

You will handle routine repairs, emergency requests, make-ready prep for vacant units, vendor coordination, and regular property walks.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of previous experience in property management maintenance, building maintenance, or related trade.
• Working knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and appliance repair.
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet insurance requirements.
• Strong customer service skills with a resident-first mindset.
• HVAC-EPA (Type II), or EPA Universal preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.

Responsabilités

• Complete daily maintenance and repairs for plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliances.
• Respond promptly to routine and emergency maintenance requests when assigned.
• Perform daily property walks to keep everything clean, safe and looking sharp.
• Prepare vacant apartments for new residents using make-ready checklists.
• Inspect buildings and grounds to maintain safety, cleanliness, and curb appeal.
• Maintain common areas, exterior spaces, and grounds as well as tackling seasonal prep like fall cleanup.
• Communicate with vendors and contractors.
