Job summary

Apartment Management Consultants is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep property buildings and grounds in top condition. You will handle daily repairs, prep vacant units, and maintain tools and inventory while following safety policies.

The role requires HVAC, plumbing, and electrical knowledge, handyman experience, and strong communication. On-site work with potential on-call shifts, and a comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate hand tools including power tools.
• Knowledge in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical.
• Property maintenance/handyman experience.
• Effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily repair and upkeep of property and prep of vacant units.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Ensure necessary tools are on hand.
• Report unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or residents.
• Maintain professional appearance and uniform.
• Follow OSHA standards and company safety policies.
• Be available for on-call work.
• Secure maintenance shops at close.
• Remove snow and ice as needed.
• Handle lock-outs and provide 24-hour response to service requests.
