Apartment Management Consultants seeks a Maintenance Technician to uphold the upkeep of property buildings and grounds, including preparing vacant units for occupancy. The role emphasizes safety, tool readiness, and timely maintenance responses within a busy property management environment.

You will work with HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, operate hand and power tools, and communicate effectively with residents and team members.

Qualifications

• Experience in property maintenance/handyman tasks.
• Ability to read and follow written or oral instructions.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily repair and upkeep of the property and vacant unit prep.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Ensure required tools are available.
• Report unusual or extraordinary property or resident issues.
• Maintain professional uniform and appearance.
• Respond to on-call service requests and after-hours issues.
• Secure maintenance shop at close of day.
• Remove snow and ice as needed.
• Handle eviction-related lock-outs and 24-hour response tasks.
