Job summary

Inland Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician at our Norman, OK community. You will handle general repairs, make-ready work, and preventive maintenance to keep the property safe and welcoming for residents, visitors, and staff.

The role requires hands-on skills in plumbing, carpentry, electrical, heating and cooling systems, and landscaping. You must have your own tools, reliable transportation, and the ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of maintenance-related work.
• HVAC certified and CFC/EPA certification preferred; CAMT preferred.
• Must furnish own tools and have transportation to vendors.
• Experience with plumbing, carpentry, electrical, heating/cooling, pools, landscaping, and cleaning.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.; work evenings, weekends, and on-call as needed.
• Must pass background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Address resident service and maintenance requests promptly.
• Communicate status of service requests to residents for satisfaction.
• Maintain property safety and repair unsafe conditions.
• Keep maintenance records and track preventive work and make-ready status.
• Ensure make-ready repairs and services are completed on schedule.
• Perform groundskeeping tasks (raking, sweeping, shoveling, salting).
• Change locks and keys as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
