Job summary

Sterling Group in Wilmington, NC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to uphold property standards and perform repairs across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and related trades. You will diagnose issues, use your own tools, and ensure facilities stay in top condition.

You will report to the Property Manager, work Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm, with on-call duties two times per month. We offer medical, dental, vision, FSA, Life, disability, and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in maintenance or equivalent field.
• EPA Certification and Pool License preferred.
• Knowledge in plumbing, electrical, and general building trades.
• Possess your own basic tools to perform apartment/building maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the physical aspects of the property meet the company’s established standards.
• Diagnose problems and make repairs in areas such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, dry walling, exterior structural, and appliance.
