Job summary

Pennrose Management Company is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join the Operations Department. You will be responsible for maintenance, repair, and cleanliness of apartment buildings assigned to you, potentially across multiple locations, with duties directed by the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager.

The role requires travel between properties, a valid driver's license, and an EPA certification within six months.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED is required.
One year of property maintenance responsibilities or similar experience.
Requires a valid driver’s license and ability to travel between properties.
EPA certification to be obtained within six months of employment; Pennrose provides this certification.

Responsibilities

Perform morning administrative work (training, updates, messages) as directed by PM or Support Center; coordinate vendors and parts.
Use the company’s mobile Maintenance app to submit and track service requests and repairs.
Assist with turnkey operations including scheduling, punching, painting, and cleaning within five business days of move-outs.
Maintain an effective preventative maintenance program.
Prepare for Owner, Federal, State, and local inspections.
Inspect grounds, buildings, and common areas to ensure a safe, clean environment.
