Job summary

DBC Real Estate Management, LLC is seeking an Experienced Maintenance Technician II for a multi‑family community in Penn Hills, PA. The Maintenance Technician oversees the appearance and upkeep of the property, including basic carpentry, appliance repairs, electrical, plumbing, and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) work is a plus.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED and 1–2 years of facility maintenance/ mechanical repair experience.
Valid driver’s license from the state of residence.

Responsibilities

Receives requests for service maintenance, prioritizes work orders, and handles each most efficiently.
Performs minor electrical repairs and replacement of light fixtures and related items.
Examines and diagnoses HVAC unit problems and performs repairs or replacements; conducts preventative maintenance such as filter changes.
Repairs and replaces kitchen appliances (refrigerators, stoves, washers, dryers).
Performs minor to moderate plumbing repairs, replacements, and installations.
Conducts painting projects and prepares vacant units (make-ready).
Maintains pools and landscape to meet standards.
Maintains safety and follows hazard communications policies.
Operates a vehicle to transport tools between sites.
Works irregular hours and on-call when required.
