Job summary

Sun Communities & Sun Outdoors is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our communities in Victorville, CA. The role involves routine and preventive maintenance, grounds upkeep, and responsive resident service in a dynamic outdoor environment.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, 6 months of maintenance experience (preferred), and the ability to lift 50 lbs. Valid driver’s license and basic computer use are expected. Snow removal may be required in winter regions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6 months in maintenance experience preferred.
• 6 months snow removal experience preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency including email and internet.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on homes and facilities.
• Keep grounds, streets, and common areas clean and safe.
• Inspect irrigation, water meters, and well/sewer systems as applicable.
• Assist with move-in/move-out spotting and basic repairs.
• Maintain pools, vehicles, and equipment; follow safety procedures.
