Job summary

WSH Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Long Beach properties. The role involves inspecting buildings, performing repairs, and managing preventative maintenance schedules to ensure safety and comfort for residents.

Responsibilities include handling emergencies, coordinating with contractors, and assisting with turnovers. The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of maintenance experience, strong communication, and a focus on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years relevant apartment maintenance experience.
• On-call and weekend service experience.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Customer service and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect property and equipment daily to determine service needs.
• Respond to service requests; document work, parts, and time.
• Implement and supervise Preventative Maintenance program.
• Update maintenance schedules for HVAC, safety devices, leaks, and gutters.
• Submit monthly property safety inspection report to Resident Manager.
• Assist with apartment turnover and bid requests for repairs.
• Direct contracted projects and verify adherence to specs.
• Maintain records of supplies, equipment, and purchases.
• Respond to emergencies 24/7; overtime may be required.
• Provide on-call emergency services on rotation.
