The role requires physical strength and familiarity with tools and software such as Yardi and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of property management or building maintenance experience.
• Proficiency in carpentry, electrical, appliance, and plumbing repairs.
• Ability to interact courteously with residents, vendors, and team members.
• You are punctual and willing to be 'on‑call' for after‑hour or weekend emergencies.
• Comfort with physical labor, including climbing, reaching, and the ability to lift/move over 100 pounds.
• Comfort using Microsoft Office and a quick learner of proprietary software like Yardi.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute work orders, property turns, and ongoing maintenance projects.
• Diagnose and repair issues involving HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, and appliances.
• Conduct move‑in/move‑out inspections and daily checks of common areas.
• Manage apartment 'turns' within 1–7 days and respond to maintenance concerns promptly.
• Follow established preventative maintenance programs, including moisture management and safety inspections.
• Use Yardi to enter and close work orders and manage documentation.
