Job summary

WSH Management, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Long Beach, CA to maintain and repair apartment properties. The role requires on-call support, handling electrical, plumbing, and appliance repairs, and assisting with turnover projects.

Responsibilities include implementing preventative maintenance, managing bids, and ensuring safety compliance while keeping costs in check. Valid driver’s license and background screening are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years relevant apartment/maintenance experience.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Must pass background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Inspect property and equipment daily to determine service needs.
• Respond to service requests and document work, parts used, and time spent.
• Implement and supervise preventative maintenance program.
• Repair electrical, plumbing, and appliances as needed.
• Assist with apartment turnovers and obtain bids for outside work.
• Direct contracted projects to ensure adherence to specs.
• Provide emergency on-call services 24/7.
• Maintain safety, inventory, and cleanliness of maintenance areas.
