Job summary

CCI is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain, repair, and clean our facility's equipment, buildings, and grounds as scheduled to preserve structural integrity and overall upkeep. You will perform inspections, complete repairs across carpentry, HVAC, electrical, plumbing and painting, and report hazards promptly.

A boiler license and driver’s license are required; HVAC certification is a plus, with a focus on safety and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

At least three years of maintenance technician experience
Must have boiler's license
Knowledge of basic maintenance (painting, carpentry, drywall, plumbing, electrical, etc.)
Able to lift up to 50 lbs
Computer literacy is required
An HVAC certificate is helpful but not required
A valid and current driver’s license is required for this position

Responsibilities

Perform daily inspections of grounds, parking lots, and common areas
Repair minor issues in buildings and foundations, including roofs, ceilings, walls, floors, basements, and mechanical systems
Immediately report any health, safety, or hazardous situations to management
Monitor maintenance supplies and procure them when necessary
Utilize a range of skills including carpentry, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, painting, and more to conduct maintenance, repairs, and preventative measures
