Job summary

United Church Homes is seeking a Maintenance professional to keep Magnolia Grove property in top condition. The role involves cleaning, lawn care, repairs, and ensuring units and common areas are ready for new residents.

You will troubleshoot appliances, perform basic plumbing/electrical tasks, and assist with annual inspections. On-call availability supports residents’ safety and comfort in a faith-based senior living community.

Qualifications

• Experience in general property maintenance and grounds keeping.

Responsibilities

• Maintains grounds and surrounding areas to keep the community attractive.
• Completes work orders promptly as requested by residents through the Housing Manager.
• Troubleshoots and repairs appliances in resident units and common areas.
• Prepares vacated units for new residents in coordination with the Housing Manager.
• Emergency maintenance support and on-call duties as required.
• May assist with training and mentoring other maintenance staff.
