Qualifications

• Experience in general building maintenance, facilities, or construction.
• Ability to learn plumbing, electrical, appliance, carpentry and related systems.
• Strong problem solving, communication, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to maintenance requests and perform repairs (plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, drywall, painting, locks).
• Prepare vacant units for new residents and coordinate turnovers.
• Perform preventive maintenance and monitor building systems and equipment.
• Maintain common areas and property appearance.
• Respond to emergencies to prevent damage or safety concerns.
• Track work orders and consumables; manage maintenance activities.
• Coordinate with management, residents, vendors, and staff on needs.
• May schedule work and direct other maintenance staff.
