Job summary

Catholic Housing Services is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support day-to-day upkeep of affordable housing communities in King County, WA. This hands-on role handles repairs, unit turnovers, preventive maintenance, and keeps spaces safe, clean, and functional.

You’ll coordinate with Property Managers and staff, respond to after-hours emergencies, and may guide other maintenance staff. The position offers full-time hours, competitive benefits, and a pay range of $23.40–$32.46 per

Qualifications

• Maintenance experience in general building maintenance or related field.
• Ability to learn plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and other systems.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Valid WA driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Respond to maintenance requests and perform repairs (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, locks).
• Prepare vacant units for new residents and coordinate turnovers.
• Perform preventive maintenance and monitor systems.
• Maintain common areas and property appearance.
• Coordinate with management, residents, vendors, and staff.
