Catholic Community Services in King County, Washington, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support day-to-day upkeep of affordable housing communities. This hands-on role handles repairs, unit turnovers, preventive maintenance, and safety across residential spaces, coordinating with property managers and staff to ensure clean, safe living environments.

Qualifications

• Maintenance experience in general building upkeep and facilities.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, painting, drywall, and locks.

Responsibilities

• Respond to maintenance requests and complete repairs (plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, drywall, painting, locks).
• Prepare vacant units for new residents and coordinate timely turnovers.
• Perform preventive maintenance and monitor building systems and equipment.
• Maintain common areas and property appearance.
• Respond to emergencies to prevent damage or safety concerns.
• Track work orders, PMs, supplies, and activities.
• Coordinate with Property Management, residents, vendors, and staff.
• May guide other maintenance staff and schedule work.
