Job summary

Eureka Multifamily Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician for an on-site, full-time role in the Affordable Housing division. The position focuses on maintaining the property, grounds, and common areas, with responsibilities spanning HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and landscape upkeep.

The candidate will perform general maintenance, respond to emergencies, support budget adherence, inspect safety systems, and conduct pest control activities as needed.

Responsibilities

• Respond quickly in the event of an emergency, notify appropriate personnel and follow safety protocol and plan and schedule repairs in a timely manner.
• Perform general maintenance including landscaping, painting, and carpentry, repair faulty equipment and conduct maintenance of electrical systems.
• Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with health and safety regulations and support the setup of ventilation, refrigeration and other systems and conduct repairs when necessary.
• Aid in budget development and ensure it is followed.
• Maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality.
• Inspect alarm systems such as carbon dioxide and fire protection and quickly schedule repairs when needed.
• Undertake activities of pest control such as spraying insecticide.
