Job summary

Prospera Housing Community Services is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician III to oversee and perform advanced maintenance across our property portfolio. The role requires independent project execution, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance under the Regional Maintenance Manager.

Candidates should bring at least 5 years of property maintenance experience, a valid driver’s license, and OSHA 10-Hour (General Industry) certification; EPA and CPO certifications

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and structural systems.
• Ability to analyze and resolve complex maintenance issues.
• Experience maintaining compliance with HUD/TDHCA and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced maintenance tasks including electrical and plumbing repairs.
• Conduct HVAC maintenance and repairs independently.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules.
• Inspect properties regularly to identify issues and address them proactively.
• Train and mentor junior maintenance staff.
• Collaborate on property improvement projects with staff and regions.
• Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.
• Oversee unit make-readies and ensure vacant units are ready for leasing.
