Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is hiring a Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep of properties and prepare vacant units for occupancy. The role emphasizes daily repairs, supplies management, and safe tool handling.

Responsibilities include keeping tools ready, reporting issues, and maintaining professional appearance. On-call duties, OSHA compliance, and 24-hour response to service requests are required. AMC offers competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.
• Experience with property maintenance/handyman tasks.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools and read simple instructions.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for daily repair and upkeep of the property and vacant unit prep.
• Maintain and inventory supplies and equipment.
• Ensure necessary tools are on hand and safe to use.
• Report unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or residents.
• Maintain a professional appearance and property uniform.
• Operate within OSHA standards and company safety policies.
• Be available to work on an on-call basis.
• Secure maintenance shops at close of day.
• Remove snow and ice as needed.
• Handle lock-outs from evictions and respond to service requests within 24 hours.
