Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is seeking a Maintenance Technician to uphold property operations and grounds, performing daily repairs and preparing vacant units for occupancy. The role requires tool use, safety compliance, and on-call availability to ensure resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Operate hand tools including power tools.
• Apply common sense to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
• Demonstrate effective communication skills.
• Knowledge in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for daily repair and upkeep of the property and preparation of vacant units for occupancy.
• Maintain and inventory all supplies and equipment.
• Ensure necessary tools are on hand and functioning.
• Report unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or residents.
• Maintain a professional uniform and appearance.
• Follow OSHA standards and company safety policies at all times.
• Be available to work on an on-call basis.
• Secure maintenance shops at close of each workday.
• Handle lock-outs from evictions and respond 24 hours to service requests.
