Job summary

Beacon Communities LLC is seeking a Maintenance Team Supervisor for Georgetowne Homes in Hyde Park, MA. You will supervise maintenance staff, coordinate repairs, manage service orders, and ensure apartment turnovers are market-ready.

The position requires strong hands-on skills in plumbing, electrical, carpentry and heating, with budget discipline and safety adherence. You must live within 30 minutes of the property or obtain management approval.

Qualifications

• Education/experience in building or property maintenance supervisory work.
• Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician preferred.
• Designated certifications for property type where required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises maintenance staff and coordinates with contractors, vendors, inspectors and temporary staff.
• Schedules, prioritizes, and tracks service orders; oversees budgets and expenditures.
• Performs and supervises minor repairs across electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting and heating issues.
• Keeps equipment, inventory, and safety practices up to date; maintains COIs and service contracts.
• Oversees unit turnovers, capital projects, and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Communicates daily with property management and residents; supports other Beacon properties as needed.
