Job summary

Ascentia is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee on-site property maintenance across its communities. The role focuses on keeping buildings and grounds in safe, attractive condition, managing a maintenance team, and coordinating with vendors to control costs.

You will handle service orders, preventive maintenance, and make-ready processes for move-ins and move-outs. Applicants should have 5 years of related experience, EPA HVAC certification, and strong leadership and communication

Qualifications

• EPA certification for air conditioning repairs.
• Experience in property maintenance and equipment management.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to supervise vendors and manage budgets.
• Strong communication and customer service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain buildings and grounds for safety and curb appeal.
• Oversee preventive and emergency maintenance including electrical, plumbing, HVAC repairs.
• Manage make-ready process for vacated units with a 1-week turn-around.
• Direct and supervise maintenance staff and schedule work orders.
• Coordinate with vendors and manage cost control and budgeting.
• Ensure on-call coverage and prompt service responses.
