Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC seeks a skilled maintenance technician to ensure indoor and outdoor community areas meet high standards of cleanliness, safety, and functionality. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and coordinate with vendors to keep the property in top condition.

The role includes managing make-ready tasks for vacant units, inspecting work, and contributing to budget planning for repairs. Strong customer service and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in property management maintenance or building maintenance.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively with residents and team members.
• Proficient in internet, word processing, spreadsheet and database management.
• EPA Type I/II or Universal HVAC certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair defects in common areas, units, and building systems following safety and code requirements.
• Manage make-ready process for vacant apartments, including inspections, punch lists, and vendor coordination.
• Set standards for cleanliness and appearance of grounds, exteriors, interiors, and common areas to reflect Greystar quality.
• Supervise and inspect work by other technicians and contractors for quality and compliance.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and assist budget planning for repairs and capital projects.
