Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring community buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet Greystar standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality.

Key duties include handling service requests, completing make-ready tasks for vacant units, and maintaining inventories while coordinating with the Community Manager on budgets and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; related experience preferred.
• Experience in property management maintenance or building maintenance.
• Must provide own hand tools unless prohibited by State law; safe use of tools required.
• Ability to diagnose problems and apply corrective actions.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills; able to interact with residents and team members.

Responsibilities

• Assist and complete work orders from resident requests and routine maintenance by diagnosing issues and repairing per policies and codes.
• Oversee and complete make-ready process for vacant units, including inspections, punch lists, scheduling vendors, and ensuring timely readiness for leasing.
• Develop standards for cleanliness and appearance of grounds, exteriors, interiors, and common areas to reflect Greystar quality.
• Periodically inspect work by team members and contractors; implement corrective actions as needed.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and materials; coordinate with Community Manager to stay within budget.
