Job summary

Prometheus seeks a Neighborhood Service Manager responsible for the physical operations of the Neighborhood, including maintenance, safety, and standards compliance. You will lead staff, manage budgets, and coordinate with vendors to deliver a high-quality living environment.

You will oversee safety training, capital projects, and inventory while upholding company policies and regulatory requirements. Strong communication and on-call availability are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years' experience and/or training in apartment maintenance with at least two years supervisory experience.
• Ability to present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, neighbors, and the public.
• On-call availability to help your team and neighborhood.
• High school diploma or GED; minimum of three certificates in maintenance-related courses (BOMA, IREM, or vocational programs).
• Working knowledge of federal, state, and local laws; ability to read safety rules and manuals.
• Physical: ability to lift up to 50 lbs; standing, walking, and other physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership by hiring, training, mentoring staff, resolving problems, and safeguarding the neighborhood's best interests.
• Oversee budget through cost-effective maintenance management, safety training, capital projects, vendors, and inventory.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory compliance; act as knowledge base for operations.
