Job summary

The Bengal in Baton Rouge, LA is seeking a proactive Maintenance Manager to oversee property maintenance and the maintenance team. You will ensure curb appeal, coordinate move-ins/outs, supervise repairs, and manage preventative maintenance to support high resident satisfaction.

You will collaborate with the Community Manager to meet occupancy goals, track work orders in Yardi, supervise vendors, and uphold safety and compliance across the property.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 3 years’ experience in maintenance or related field.
• EPA Certification required within 75 days of hire date.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise daily maintenance team activities.
• Coordinate move-ins/move-outs and schedule repairs.
• Oversee preventative maintenance and vendor coordination.
• Manage work orders in Yardi and ensure timely completion (24–48 hrs).
• Ensure safety and compliance with company policies.
• Assist Community Manager with proposals and budget tracking.
