Job summary

• 3+ years of building, facilities, apartment, or property maintenance experience required.
• HVAC certification and trade certifications in electrical, plumbing, or related fields required.
• Ability to read diagrams, technical manuals, work orders, and safety documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, train, and support maintenance team members.
• Coordinate and prioritize service requests, preventive maintenance programs, and repair activities.
• Oversee apartment make-ready operations and prepare vacant homes for occupancy.
• Perform and supervise repairs involving HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, and general building systems.
• Conduct inspections of apartment homes, common areas, building systems, and grounds.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and community management on property operations and capital improvement projects.
• Maintain maintenance records, inventory, work orders, and required documentation.
• Oversee grounds, exterior areas, and property maintenance activities.
• Respond to emergency maintenance situations and participate in the on-call rotation.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA standards, company policies, and applicable safety regulations.
• Promote a positive, safe, and welcoming community environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
