The Lake Club in Bradenton, FL is looking for a Full-Time Property Maintenance Specialist.

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable, skilled, and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to support the daily upkeep and overall appearance of an exclusive private residential community. This is a hands‑on role requiring a versatile, self‑motivated professional with strong general maintenance and handyperson experience. The ideal candidate takes pride in quality craftsmanship, works independently across a wide range of tasks, and demonstrates a professional demeanor with a strong commitment to safety, efficiency, and exceptional resident service. This position plays a critical role in maintaining the community’s high standards and ensuring a safe, well‑maintained environment.

Experience:

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in property maintenance, hospitality, or a related field
• Experience in luxury or high-end residential environments preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general maintenance and repair tasks throughout the community.
• Electrical troubleshooting and basic repairs, including landscape lighting, outlets, and fixtures.
• Carpentry work includes minor repairs, adjustments, and installations.
• Painting and surface preparation, including interior and exterior touch-ups.
• Basic irrigation repairs and adjustments (sprinkler heads, valves, controllers/timers)
• Pressure washing of sidewalks, buildings, amenities, and common areas.
• Assist with preventative and proactive maintenance programs.
• Assist with basic security gate repairs (swing gates, poles, related components)
• Clay tennis court maintenance
• Respond to common area‑related maintenance requests and provide weekend coverage as scheduled.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean, safe, and organized manner.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and community management.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Technical Skills
  • General knowledge of electrical, carpentry, painting, plumbing, and basic irrigation systems
  • Strong handyperson skills with the ability to troubleshoot and solve problem‑solve.
  • Proficient in the use of hand and power tools.
  • Experience using pressure washing equipment preferred.

  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.

Safety, Documentation & Compliance:

• Adhere to all company safety policies and local building codes.
• Conduct routine safety checks on equipment and facilities.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, repairs, and inventory using established systems (e.g., CMMS software).

Additional Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions.

Schedule & Compensation:

• Full-time, hourly position.
