Job summary

Gallery Residential is seeking a Service Technician to maintain inside and exterior property areas, respond to resident requests, and ensure safety and quality standards are met. You will work under the Maintenance department, collaborating with the Community and Service Directors to keep buildings and amenities in excellent condition.

The role requires diverse tool usage, adherence to OSHA guidelines, and flexible scheduling including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

Requires knowledge of safe use and maintenance of hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment.
High school diploma or GED preferred; EPA refrigerant recycling certifications preferred.
Driver’s license required and EPA certifications may be needed by property jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

Completes work orders from resident requests within 24 to 48 hours.
Performs routine upkeep of property and common areas.
Diagnoses defects and makes repairs per safety standards and code requirements.
Maintains grounds and amenities, assists with cleaning and painting tasks as needed.
Tracks inventory and notifies supervisor when re-orders are necessary.
Assists in inspecting work by contractors to verify quality and scope.
