Job summary

Home Leasing is seeking a Porter in Tonawanda, NY 14150 to help maintain the community’s physical assets and keep common areas clean and safe. The role reports to the Maintenance Superintendent and requires reliability, teamwork, and physical stamina.

The position includes performing wide-ranging maintenance tasks, following a preventive schedule, and contributing to a tidy, well-kept living environment for residents. Competitive benefits are offered with this on-site role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain grounds, parking lots, apartments, offices, laundry facilities, restrooms and common areas; includes vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, glass cleaning and snow removal.
• Implement the Preventative Maintenance Schedule.
• Report building damage, vandalism and incidents in writing to the Community Leader; monitor site lighting; maintain records.
• Remove trash and keep janitorial/sanitation supplies adequately stocked.
