Job summary

Westminster Management in Alexandria, VA is seeking a Property Maintenance Manager to lead our maintenance team, overseeing daily tasks, inspections and training to keep our communities safe and well-maintained.

You will manage service requests, preventive and emergency repairs, inventory, and budget planning while upholding safety standards and delivering exceptional resident experiences.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in multifamily property management or 5+ years in property management.
• Knowledge of maintenance practices, safety protocols, and fair housing regulations.
• Experience with property management software (Yardi) and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise maintenance team to deliver top-notch service.
• Oversee all community maintenance work, including service requests, preventive and emergency repairs.
• Maintain effective maintenance programs to protect and maintain the property.
• Keep an inventory of equipment, tools, and supplies.
• Train, mentor, and inspire maintenance staff to reach new heights.
• Communicate effectively with staff, residents, and leadership to ensure the community is well-maintained.
