American Campus Communities is seeking a Service Manager for The Summit & Jacob Heights in Mankato, MN. You will lead the property maintenance team, oversee work orders, preventative maintenance, and vendor coordination to ensure high standards and a top-notch resident experience.

This role reports to the Property Manager and requires strong leadership, planning, and communication. HVAC certification is preferred, with 2–3 years in residential facilities maintenance and prior supervisory

Qualifikationen

• HVAC certification preferred.
• 2–3 years’ proven mid to high-level tech experience in residential facilities maintenance.
• Management experience preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

Aufgaben

• Lead the entire facilities maintenance team to enhance resident experience and maintain high standards.
• Manage work orders, preventative maintenance, and vendor coordination for assigned property.
• Recruit, hire, train, and develop team members; cross-train for operational flexibility.
• Oversee the turnover process and vendor contracts; assist Property Manager with annual planning.
• Own preventative maintenance plans; schedule, delegate, and track tasks.
• Ensure readiness for inclement weather and safe operation of facilities equipment.
• Collaborate with nearby ACC properties to share resources as needed.
• Develop and supervise inspections of public areas and resident apartments.
