Job summary

The Evergreen Real Estate Services maintenance team seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to lead operations, oversee unit turns, and assure safety and standards at Maple Pointe Apartments in Chicago, IL. You will manage HVAC/electrical/plumbing tasks, coordinate vendors, and guide staff with a focus on quality and regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates have at least 5 years in maintenance with 3+ in leadership, a high school diploma or GED, and relevant trade certifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years of maintenance experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
• HVAC/electrical/plumbing trade certs preferred; CAMT preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and availability for on-call rotations.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day maintenance operations, ensure timely work orders and unit turns.
• Oversee HVAC, electrical, plumbing and mechanical system maintenance.
• Supervise maintenance staff; train and onboard new team members.
• Source and monitor vendors; ensure on-time, within-budget work.
• Create preventive maintenance plans and manage inventory.
• Enforce OSHA/EPA safety protocols and incident documentation.
