Job summary

Evergreen Real Estate Group is seeking a Maintenance II technician to uphold the safety and functionality of our residential communities in Illinois. You will perform advanced maintenance tasks across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and building systems, and guide junior staff to ensure quality repairs.

You will perform preventive maintenance, keep accurate records, and support residents and staff with timely responses while adhering to safety standards and company procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in residential or multifamily maintenance.
• Experience in troubleshooting and performing repairs on building systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned work orders involving plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, and appliance repairs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues; escalated complex or specialty repairs as needed.
• Ensure make-ready repairs are completed on schedule and to standard.
• Provide feedback on recurring problems and suggest long-term solutions or procedural improvements.
• Maintain accurate records for all completed work orders and inspections.
