Job summary

CWS Apartment Homes in Atlanta is seeking a Maintenance Director to lead a maintenance team across the community. You will supervise technicians, coordinate make-readies, handle service requests, and promote resident satisfaction.

The role requires strong leadership, hands-on problem solving, and the ability to manage budgets and safety programs. EPA/HVAC certifications and a valid driver's license are required; Yardi experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (required).
• Yardi software experience (preferred).
• Microsoft Office and Outlook experience (required).
• EPA, HVAC I & II, CPO and local certifications (required).
• Minimum 2-4 years previous full-time work experience in apartment maintenance or related trades (required).
• Valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance (required).
• Own a basic set of hand tools (required).
• Able to read service requests and schedules and converse in English with team members, residents, and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance team members.
• Embrace, engage, motivate and train team members.
• Prepare make-ready apartments.
• Complete service requests.
• Maintain inventory and shop organization.
• Perform common area maintenance.
• Lead preventative maintenance program.
• Participate in resident satisfaction programs.
• Communicate with customers, residents, investors, vendors, leadership, and CWS team members.
• Lead and participate in the CWS Risk Management and Safety Programs.
