Job summary

Hamilton Point Property Management in Houston, TX is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee day-to-day maintenance operations across an assigned property and to ensure compliance with standards and laws. You will manage budgeting, purchasing, risk management, and personnel administration while delivering high-quality service to residents.

You will lead on-site maintenance staff, coordinate schedules, supervise performance, and work with the Community Manager on hiring.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of property management maintenance or related trade.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Experience supervising maintenance staff and vendor management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day maintenance operations.
• Coordinate maintenance staff scheduling and task assignments.
• Assist Community Manager with interviews and hiring.
• Supervise maintenance team performance and reviews.
• Manage vendor selection and contractor oversight.
• Ensure safety, inspections, and compliance with laws.
• Respond to resident maintenance issues promptly.
• Perform semi-annual preventative maintenance and apartment turns.
• Inspect properties for cleanliness and safety and maintain records.
