Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a maintenance technician for our Orlando community. You will handle work orders, diagnose issues, and perform repairs to maintain safety and aesthetics in line with Greystar standards.

You will manage the make-ready process for vacant units, coordinate vendors, and contribute to a strong on-site maintenance program. Strong customer service and safety compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or related experience and training.
• Proficiency in customer service and interpersonal communication skills to interact with residents and team members.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively to represent company management.
• Proficiency in internet, word processing, spreadsheet, and database management programs; experience with property management systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists and completes work orders from resident requests and routine upkeep by diagnosing defects and making repairs per policies and codes.
• Oversees make-ready process for vacant units, performs inspections, schedules vendors, and coordinates supplies.
• Develops standards for cleanliness and appearance of grounds, exteriors, interiors, and common areas to reflect Greystar standards.
• Inspects work by service team members and contractors to ensure quality and compliance.
• Maintains inventory of spare parts and maintenance materials and works with Community Manager on budgets.
• Performs monthly preventative maintenance as outlined in policy and procedure manual.
• Assists Community Manager in budgeting for repairs and capital projects.
• Supports cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible.
• Conducts safety meetings and ensures OSHA and MSDS compliance.
• Demonstrates customer service by addressing questions and concerns promptly and professionally.
