Job summary

Nevada HAND, Inc is seeking a Maintenance Assistant for Harmon Pines in Las Vegas, NV. The role supports the maintenance team with on-site tasks, handles service requests, and upholds safety and quality standards across facilities.

Qualified applicants have at least six months in property maintenance, solid electrical/plumbing/HVAC understanding, and carpentry skills. HVAC and pool certifications are required to advance from Assistant to Lead Technician.

Qualifications

• Minimum six (6) months of experience in property maintenance capacity performing maintenance duties.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Must also have skills in carpentry, roofing, and other general construction-related items.
• HVAC certification and pool certification must be obtained to progress from Assistant to Lead Technician

Responsibilities

• Complete all service requests on a timely basis and ensure notices are posted.
• Perform common maintenance on gates, light fixtures, doors, windows, laundry facilities, pool and pool pump, and appliances.
• Notify Senior Technicians of any supplies or parts necessary to complete the service requests.
• Perform cleaning duties (i.e., mopping, dusting, and vacuuming).
• Paint interior and exterior areas according to industry standards for preparation.
• Maintain a professional relationship with staff, vendors, and current or prospective residents.
• Available for on-call work as needed.
