Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Porter to support maintenance operations at our properties. The role involves carrying out routine, cosmetic, and corrective tasks under supervision to maintain community standards.

Responsibilities include daily on-site presence, performing maintenance, responding to work orders, and assisting in preventive maintenance programs, with on-call duties as required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular community maintenance tasks and assist in make-ready processes.
• Attend on-site daily to support maintenance operations and respond to requests in a timely manner.
• Perform cleaning, trash removal, and maintenance of grounds, buildings, and common areas.
• Assist in maintaining a preventative maintenance program to extend community life.
• Follow Asset key policy and adhere to safety standards and OSHA guidelines.
• Participate in unit inspections and report violations to supervisors.
• Communicate effectively with residents and management to ensure service requests are prioritized.
• Support on-call emergencies at the community as needed.

Education

High School Diploma or Equivalent
