Job summary

Goldmark Property Management is seeking an Assistant Property Manager Float to support the Property Manager with day-to-day operations, resident relations, and financial oversight for multifamily properties. You will help develop and execute marketing programs to maximize occupancy and resident satisfaction, supervise team activities, and ensure exceptional service and responsive communication.

Starting pay is $21.50 per hour (plus potential increases with experience), with commissions, a 20%

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must have valid driver’s license, vehicle, and insurance.
• Sales experience with ability to close sales.
• Experience overseeing financial/back-end operations for a team.
• Two+ years of leadership experience.
• NALP or similar certifications are desirable.
• Four-year degree in business or related field preferred; or 2–4 years related experience.
• Strong financial statement and budgeting understanding.
• Customer service mindset with strong sales drive.
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite (SharePoint, Word, Outlook, Excel).
• Familiar with multi-family housing laws and Fair Housing.

Responsibilities

• Lease apartments using proven sales skills.
• Advertise and market properties daily via social media and other platforms.
• Tour and present property to prospective residents and close sales.
• Build and maintain strong resident relationships and respond to requests.
• Document communications in customer management systems daily.
• Collaborate with Property Manager on targeted marketing strategies.
• Maintain maximum occupancy and contribute to NOI budgeting goals.
