Job summary

Lynd Management Group, LLC seeks an Assistant Property Manager in Houston, TX to assist the Property Manager with leasing, resident relations, and office operations. You will generate traffic, conduct tours, process applications, and ensure timely move-ins while maintaining compliance with HUD guidelines.

The role requires customer service excellence, knowledge of Fair Housing, and proficiency with RealPage OneSite and MS Office. Weekend/holiday hours may apply as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two to three years related property management, leasing, and/or hospitality experience or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of HUD policies and affordable housing guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist Property Manager and oversee office in their absence; manage daily funds and deposits.
• Coordinate leasing, resident retention, and customer service activities; conduct tours and close leases.
• Process rent, post payments, and generate reports (move‑in/out, vacancy, traffic).
• Prepare for audits, renewals, and HUD compliance; maintain resident files and paperwork.
• Support marketing, social events, and resident relations to ensure satisfaction.
