Job summary

Hamilton Point Property Management is seeking a Porter/Groundskeeper to maintain common areas, sidewalks, and landscaping. This role supports the maintenance team and ensures a clean, safe living environment for residents.

You will perform exterior cleaning, lawn care, and basic maintenance tasks, while coordinating with supervisors and office staff. A positive service attitude and reliable attendance are essential.

Qualifications

• Reads and follows written instructions and safety procedures.
• Maintains courteous communication with residents and staff.
• Ability to operate basic maintenance tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Picks up trash on the property and common areas such as driveways and parking lots.
• Keeps dumpster area clean and emptied; uses power blower and pressure washer for cleaning.
• Maintains flowerbeds, plants, grass areas and pool area; assists with pool maintenance.
• Cleans carpets in resident apartments and reports issues to supervisor.
• Schedules and monitors work orders; ensures supplies are stocked and ordered as needed.
• Assists office staff with posting notices on resident doors; provides emergency maintenance support.
• Inspects buildings and grounds for safety; promotes excellent resident service.
• Follows company safety rules; may require driving to different areas and flexes with staffing needs.
