Job summary

Baltimore County, MD is seeking a seasoned supervisor for the Property Management Grounds unit. Under general direction, you will plan, direct, and control activities for renovations, maintenance, and operation of County buildings and facilities.

You will oversee staff, manage the capital matrix budget, ensure policy compliance, and coordinate with external contractors. A bachelor's degree and supervisory experience are required, with preference for recreation and parks background.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in business, public administration, or related field.
• At least six years of experience in property management, grounds or building management, with supervisory experience.
• Experience preferred in Recreation and Parks services.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision and management of the Grounds Unit and staff.
• Develop and monitor capital budget for building equipment.
• Ensure compliance with County policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with other agencies and contractors as needed.
• Prepare reports and participate in budget development and capital planning.
