Job summary

Avenue5 Residential is seeking a Porter in San Antonio, TX to maintain grounds, amenities, and exterior areas while keeping leasing offices and tour paths clean and inviting. You’ll focus on curb appeal and customer service to enhance residents' experience.

You will remove debris daily, assist with market-ready units, pressure wash, help in weather emergencies, clean apartments and common areas, report safety issues, and collaborate with residents and other properties.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, and understand English.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional appearance.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and current auto insurance.
• Able to handle safety requirements and health & safety training.
• Willing to perform snow removal and curb appeal duties.

Responsibilities

• Remove trash and debris from office areas and property perimeter daily.
• Assist in the preparation of market ready units.
• Pressure wash exterior buildings, sidewalks, etc.
• Assist with property emergencies, such as snow removal and other inclement weather emergencies, fires, and floods.
• Clean available apartments and model homes and common areas as directed.
• Address property maintenance concerns related to inclement weather conditions.
• Promote customer satisfaction by maintaining high standards of cleanliness and curb appeal, and interact with residents professionally.
• Preserve and respect applicant and resident confidentiality.
• Foster a positive, active and collaborative relationship with residents, other properties and associated agencies.
• Report maintenance and life safety issues immediately.
• Other duties as assigned.
