Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Property & Fund Controller to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $150,000 to $180,000 per year.
Oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, and month end close activities across multiple entities and investment structures.
Review financial statements, management reports, cash flow forecasts, and operating results to support leadership decision making.
Coordinate audit activities, tax reporting support, investor reporting, and compliance related financial requirements.
Partner with asset management and operational teams on budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and performance monitoring.
Lead accounting staff, improve processes, strengthen internal controls, and support special projects as needed.
A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including property accounting and fund accounting exposure.
Prior experience managing accounting personnel and overseeing financial reporting functions.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial statement preparation, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial systems, and accounting software platforms.
Previous experience with real estate investments, property operations, fund accounting, and multi entity structures.
Familiarity with accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and asset management software.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to evaluate financial performance and identify trends.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.
