Job summary

Management Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Property Accountant in Florida to prepare and analyze financial statements and support schedules for multiple properties.

The role covers monthly close, bank reconciliations, and fixed asset reviews while supporting audits and compliance with loan and management agreements. The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of accounting experience, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and familiarity with Yardi.

Qualifications

• BS/BA-Accounting.
• Minimum 1-3 years of accounting experience.
• Property accounting experience strongly preferred, not required.
• Experience with multiple company financials.
• Proficient in MS Office; intermediate Excel.
• Yardi experience preferred; mid-level accounting systems required.
• Ability to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Track and monitor operating results and prepare/distribute monthly financial packages.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements with property management staff for accrual entries.
• Prepare monthly journal entries and close the general ledger with reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations, variance reports, and cash flows.
• Review fixed assets and depreciation schedules on a monthly basis.
• Prepare/review management fee calculations per property agreements.
• Analyze mortgage and partnership agreements for accounting requirements.
• Prepare escrow draw packages per loan documents.
• Review AP invoice coding and approvals.
• Assist with internal and external audits.
• Other related duties as required.
