Job summary

North Point Hospitality Group, Inc. in Savannah, GA seeks a Maintenance Technician to keep guest areas safe, functional, and well-maintained. You will perform preventive maintenance, address repairs, and help create an outstanding guest experience.

You’ll handle basic carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical work, and report safety concerns promptly. A courteous, proactive host mindset is essential to meet quality standards and guest expectations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in general repair such as carpentry, painting, plumbing, and maintaining mechanical equipment.
• Pool certification is a plus.
• Professional, courteous demeanor.
• A can-do attitude and passion for guest service.
• Ability to anticipate guest needs and respond in a friendly, helpful way.
• A consistently caring and respectful approach.
• A gracious host mindset—for guests, vendors, and future teammates.

Responsibilities

• Help create an outstanding guest experience by keeping the property safe, functional, and well-maintained.
• Follow guest room preventive maintenance checklists.
• Complete room maintenance and ensure spaces are left clean, safe, and free of debris.
• Perform basic repairs including: replacing light fixtures, grout and caulking repairs, tightening loose fixtures and toilet seats, minor plumbing and electrical repairs, painting and wall touch-ups.
• Interact with guests and respond to maintenance needs promptly and professionally.
• Immediately report safety concerns or significant maintenance issues to management.
• Meet all quality assurance standards and expectations.
